Beef/ Mutton /Chicken

750g-1kg (with bones)

Onions (medium)

3 / 200g (sliced)

Tomatoes (medium)

2 -3 /140 -210g (chopped)

Ginger paste

1 table spoon /25g

Garlic paste

1 table spoon /25g

Yogurt (whipped)

1/2 cup/100g

Fresh Spinach (Palak)

1 kg (cleaned, washed and chopped)

Fresh Fenugreek

1 cup (cleaned, washed and chopped)

Green chili

3-4 (coarsely chopped)

Fresh milk

1/4 cup

Oil/Ghee

1-1 1/4 cup

Mehran Palak Gosht Masala

Boil chopped spinach for 5 minutes, grind coarsely and keep aside.

Heat oil / ghee, fry onions till they turn light golden. Then add meat, ginger paste and garlic paste, fry well for 5 minutes. Now add tomatoes and Mehran Palak Gosht Masala Mix, fry for further 2-3 minutes. Then add 1 cup of water, cover and cook on low

Add yogurt, fry well till oil separates. Then add spinach, fenugreek leaves and green chili. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes on low heat. Now add milk, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes and remove.

Cooking Suggestion:

Serve with Nan, Chapati or plain boiled rice. Serve for 7-8 persons.

Preparation time:

45 minutes for chicken, 1-1 1/2 hrs for Beef/Mutton
